Cd Keys Only Banned For 30 Days...

Ok, this thread is to clear up all rumors and other facts out there... On Wednesday August 10th Battle.net in conjunction with blizzard entertainment closed more than 36,000 accounts on battle.net that were tied to cheating... More than 28,000 CD Keys were also banned AND I QUOTE FROM BATTLE.NET "have been disabled from Realm play on Battle.net for one month." However And I quote Again "more than 3,000 CD keys have been permanently disabled from Realm play due to repeat offenses."


"Today’s account closures reflect our zero-tolerance policy against cheating, as well as our effort to prepare the Realms for the new ladder season. We appreciate the support of the thousands of legitimate Diablo II players in helping us keep Battle.net a secure and fun place to play Blizzard games. "

there's a post on the battlenet forums where a mod says the same thing. if this is your second offense you got your key (account as wel?) banned permanently. if it's your first time getten caught, then it's just for the 30 days

your account is gone either way forever there is no way to regain your account...
first offense=cd key 1 month
second offense= go buy another cd key @ sam goody

i agree completely with you tupac they did what they could to bring some players back after a mass ban like that they knew a lot of people had given up on the game they couldn't bring back accounts so they did what they could to get some players to return (temp ban cd keys)...

Its only obvious. I mean is there such thing as a "temp cd ban" since when?

they have had temp ban for the longest time.

i have had 2 sets of keys tem banned. then the second offence got permanent ban.

right now my 3rd set of keys is on temp ban cause of the mh. so i said fvck it.

now i am only going to play 1.09 relived
