Cd-Key Genorator? Scan please..

Ok i hope i dont get banned for this.... Should i download a cd-key genartor off of a p2p source (limewire, kazaa.) or wil it infect my computer? or can i download it, but i needes to be run in order to infect my comp. And if u give me thums up, plz tell me who i cansend the file to, to scan for me plz :ufo

Doesn't a crack just allow you to play without a CD?

And a CD-Key gen won't work on battle.net. Just buy the CD, it can't be more than $40.

A generator doesnt let you play on Bnet sir and i would trust any p2p programs.
check diablorealms.net in their download section for a legit one

scanning for malicious code is not always just running norton on it

hexing, notepad-ing (lol) and debugging are not that easy

Dont run anything you get off of p2p that doesnt have a readme. And scan everything anyway. As for keygens/cracks, almost all of them are (obviously) viri unless you download them from a legit site like www.bnetweb.com. For keys, you need to either get them from a list or get a new one.

*EDIT* i just bought a new cd-key and guess waht. i wasnt even running a maphack or any hacks and i got this one banned aswell, im e-mailing bnet aswe speak to tell them either unban me or send me money by mail. Any reason why u think i coulda got banned without even usings hacks?

i agree with u cm...but theres one thing...most ppl that have bothered to put a logger/trojan/virus into something that can be downloaded from a shitty site found by google, or on kazaa or whatever, are most likely NOT going to go through the trouble to make it that un-detectable

Yeah, they wouldnt waste it on that. Then it would be detectable, because people would send it to the AV people. Undetectable stuff is only in targeted attacks, so dont worry about that. The reason you should disassemble your hacks is so you dont get screwed in-game.

Hrm... ok if there's a tool that steals your cdkeys and passwords but doesn't change them nor use them until a certain day (see PindleSweeper issue ) how would you detect it and send it to some AV owners?

Were you using any 3rd-party programs that mess with Diablo 2 in anyway?

Like a d2loader. I heard people got banned for that.
