THIS THREAD IS FOR IDEAS AND SHIT, DO NOT ASK FOR THIS MODULE/METHOD SINCE WE HAVENT GOT IT. IF YOU WANT IT: FIGURE IT OUT.
Hints:Well, I think th4 has been kept pretty private for a long time. So here is my discovery:
About 2 weeks after diablo came out, *name* found a working dupe that only required 1 player. He was told to keep it private ofcourse, but he did not listen, and released it to a few friends.
Why did he release it?
He did not care if it get leaked, and he thought that people would not abuse it. But he was wrong, people that got the dupe were very confused and didnt know a single thing about packets. He didnt even bother for a module. Anyway, that dupe just went underground and was never heard from again. But recently, I have seen 2 people that had a similar dupe.
Why did you say th4?
Simple, the item is non-perm and thats why it is called th4. It's basically th3+ because you can do anything with the item even move it around. but once the player left, he had no item(and you dont remember who th'ed you).
Do I have it?
Yes I do. Dont bother pm'ing me, I am not going to send it to anyone.
Am I going to use it?
No, I only used it once for testing and around 5 times in public trades.
Am I going to give you hints?
Yes, here is an info on how to use it:
1. Type .load thu
2. Walk to any akara and press F3 (buy)
3. Press ok
4. Press F4 While you see the message, Ever F4 (sell) = New item on ground.
That is all. No it does not require packet 44.
People who are smart enough will figure it out.
I just gotta figure this one out :]F3 is for buy, F4 is for sell.
People who have tried know how to get "this action cannot be done" message while in npc window. Now combine that with Selling Item that could not be picked up.
Ugh no.. But if you do get to "Cannot be done" stage, think how you can drop item to ground.
Im going to sleep, here is my final words. Everything you have thought, is wrong. But most things are. Some aren't. Look behind you. It's right under your nose. This method best used on Windows 95. Figure it out.
