Can u get 100% resist

i was wondering if ur resistances could get to 100. and not stop at 95 or lower.

90 is the highest ive ever gotten, I think 95 is the cutoff if not 90.

im pretty sure that its capped at 95% becuz if u were 100% resistant sumthin u wouldnt ever get hurt by it making ele chars useless then :-/

95% is the cap for resistance.

In response to Diatenshi's reply, that is semi true. With the 95% resistance to an element, and with any items with absorb of the element, you can make yourself damn-near involnerable to the element. However, if a said apponent had Rainbow Facets that reduce the said resistance, you'll need to have back-up gear for that said apponent.

and any good ele sorc would have a mastery, bringing your resists down alot more.

Only mastery for sorc that brings the resist down is Cold Mastery, and it only brings cold resist down

Just stick an infinity on your merc (ladder), and all is good against high res chars ;D
