How do you use the one on a swiss army knife?

I think he's trying to use it to take the entire top off the can.

The pointy part goes into the can like how Mike said, and it just leaves a little triangular hole. It's not much good for things like cans of beans and shit, but liquids like tomato soup are good.

Wth so it just makes a hole? How do you remove the lid then (for solid foods)

It's not made to do that, although I imagine if you made a bunch of the holes you could manage to shred the lid enough to remove most of it.

Why dont you just get one of the ones with the handle on the side you turn and it cuts it real nice.

Or just use the Knife attachment to cut the rest?
