Well some do, some don't. Depends on the author.

Most translate too literally, word for word, and don't factor in any loose meanings. I have found that translators aren't too helpful.

Translators work, you just have to be smarter than them.

"Pissant" for example wouldn't work right if translated back and forth, but "Ant of Piss" would. Means the same thing, just worded different.

I would say #1 this way:Takusan tabemono wo taberu koto ga suki desu.
I'm pretty sure your way is correct though.

#5: Ichiban suki na tabemono wa cheezu desu. (Ichi ban suki na = "My Favorite...)

#6: Ichiban suki na nomemono wa... whatever

All I know for now. =/ Its been a long time since I looked at my notes. I'll get back to you.

Watashi wa taberunoga daisukedesu
*Watashi wa taberu no ga daisuki desu

This would actually mean "I like eating very much" rather than "I like to eat a lot of things." What Aternyth suggested, "Takusan tabemono wo taberu koto ga suki desu", is 100% accurate. Use his example.

To be honest, I'm not 100% positive about #3 (And the ones related to it).. it has what you call a relative pronoun in English (The breakfast that is prepared by mother), which is a bit difficult to express in Japanese. I played it safe in my first example, although it isn't a perfect translation:

1: Shichiji goro ni uchi de okaasan no choushoku wo tabemasu.

I eat mother's breakfast around seven o'clock at home.

This one, although I'm only 85% confident in it, is more accurate (Assuming it is correct):

2: Shichiji goro ni uchi de watashi wa okaasan de tsukuru choushoku wo tabemasu.

I eat breakfast (that is) prepared by mother at around seven o'clock at home.

I'd recommend you send a private message to aphextwin to double check on my translation, considering he's a native speaker and all. If you can't reach him, go with my second example. The other ones should come easily (Just plug in the new words; hebi = snake, etc.).

So you can feel more loved rather than being picked on almost everytime you post.
