Cain packets... lol?

seifer @ blizzhackers made me really curious.... what are those damn packets?!!?!

do you know anything about it?
what do you think about those "cain packets" ... ?

packets are they way the server interacts with the client (allthe actions you dow tih your character are seperate actions, but also how much life your char has after a hit). The packet for npc's like cain is 13 XX XX XX YY YY YY YY where XX XX XX XX s his ID. You should read a complete explanation about pakctes, because its hard to explain in one post.

im sorry you completely misunderstood me... OFC i know what packets are ... but thx for your help^^

what i meant were those "undiscovered cain packets" ... they must be normally unused (and ofc then unknown) packets with the power to force serverside object refresh (like 5f+4b) as you can tele with those cain packets... i dont know alot about those packets but they can for eg. let you "teleport" between acts without doing the quests etc...

he can do weird things with 'em (like duping^^) and OMG im curious and WANT to know those packets^^

well the guy (Seifer aka Iamonyourside) posted it rite there on blizzhackers but hes just bragging around and wont tell more about it... but it seems to be confirmed by comi so there must be something true^^

and at least the rollback and the "make other players screen flash" thingys were confirmed by comi... makes me think about that

the make other players screen flash was patched back in 1.09, i used to be able to do that as well. Seifer...as well as i would like to say good things about him, i cannot. I used to talk to him sometimes back at TGN, but he can be a real prick sometimes =/
