I've known people who spent money in on diablo items and they spend around 50-100 i've never seen lower or higher. and around 3 of my current friends do it..cause they're rich bastards.

I bought an IST rune about 8 months ago because I got scammed, so I traded my ist for tal set... Then 6 months later I learn tal set sucks.

Try to think of it more as time rather than money. If a person with the crappiest minimum wage job worked 1 full day (8 hours), and spent all the daily money on D2 items from a website/ebay. He would be getting 10 X the items than if he spent 8 hours actually playing the game. So in theory he spent real money. But in theory he just saved an incredible amount of time. But of course when your 12, a hundred dollars seems like so much. But it really isnt. Time is more important. Especially when your going to be using the 8 hours doing one or the other.

i bought a 15ed enigma archon plate off ebay for $4.49, it wasnt duped or anything of that sort. I figured, shit i buy about 2 packs of smokes a day, and at the end of that day, i've "smoked" my money, so I figured why not spend less than the price of a pack of smokes, for the last thing my char needed? Guess you could spend 4.50 on more stupid things (like smoking). However I do agree, 50-100 dollars for some pixels!!! Thats when I would seek help or something.
