Personally i think catapults are useless while fighting units until they get the burning oil upgrade, also are demolition units effect by magic at all?

we are talking about orcs not humans and what do you like in mortars i think they suck demoilishers own everything with grunts and a BM or TC

Yea right mortars are much cheaper and can move faster.

But i still like demolishers even though they take forever to build.

i didn't get the second part of the sentence but it is fun using them especially against archers you gain alot of experience

clippers... demolisher has most damage in the whole war3... i think it was 150 siege dmg or more when upged 3 times...

No your wrong frost wyrms do more damage.

oh well, doesnt matter, demolisher comes out faster, and eariler. You get my point beer slut ;) Also, since they got pretty good dmg, they can pwn melees since only small bits of melees have medium, and since casters have unarmored, pwn them too. Only ranged units like archers and fiends are the troubles u'll have for catapult. However, you have to remember to bring grunts/taurens with u.

They do less damage to enemy units them they do to enemy building...
Yes, but the overall damage is still huge, and it is SPLASH damage vs units, dont discount that either. Basically, if you want to win as orc vs night elves, you make demolishers. There are still some other options open vs other races, but grunts and demos will work on every race, it is as close to "cheese" as the orcs get

burning oil pwns. pults aren't useless, though, without it. they're probably as powerful (or almost)... as other siege. i think they're much better than steam tanks, because pults actually attack units and they have better splash than tanks.
burning oil, though, makes pults definately the most powerful siege in the game.

i think burning oil helps a lot because it helps destroy clumped units and helps kill enemy casters

Burning Oil is way better than disease cloud (and disease cloud isn't all that bad), so I say get it! It really helps in reducing HP even more than a usual shot does. That fire helps with killing casters too. ;)

Anyways, yes they own umarmored so bad that its not even funny, they own harder than what meat wagons do. Plus, they own all the buildings from burning oils, man.
