Bullshit Steam says my CD-Key is invalid

I BOUGHT THIS ****ING GAME (HALFLIFE) LIKE 5 HOURS AGO, JUST TRIED TO INSTALL IT WITH STEAM BUT THESE MUTHER ****ERS TELL ME THAT IT IS INVALID/USED BY SOMEONE ELSE, TWO POSSIBILITYS:

1) Stolen (IMPOSSIBLE I JUST BOUGHT IT)
2) Someone used a keygen and got my key (HOW LIKELY IS THAT HUH?)
3) Gay-Fag Steam wants to **** with me (THAT'S IT!)

I've read about other ppl complaining about this, what the hell is wrong with those idiots?!? I BOUHGT THE GAME now I WANT TO PLAY THE GOD DAMN GAME, too!

(yeah I sent them an eMail as I was told to do, but people at their forum is telling me that it takes months to get a reply -.-*)

Anyone know that I am talking about? WTF should I do?!?

I would have suggested that you buy the game at Wal-Mart. They tend to have the best security. At stores like Best Buy or Circuit City, people often just open the box, copy the key, and then put the game back.

thing is the box in the store was empty, I got the real stuff from the fat guy behinf the counter, and it was glued ... it's impossible to pull that scam at the store whee I bought it ... and I dont think they'd give me my money back, they'll think I just stole the cd-key and then returned the box =/
