Sorry about the text wall, there's just a lot to explain.

So, I play SC with a large group of friends during lunch at my school in a computer lab. Since there's only 40 minutes or so during lunch, the maps we play are usually (ugh) "fastest", since normal games are too slow for us to play. Even on a "fastest map" we still can't completely finish, so I decided to make a "fastest" with halved unit cost and build time (but I've kept the upgrades the same, just to stop the map from being too cheap). I've been testing it out with the large group in the lab, and everyone enjoys it except for one little bug which I haven't been able to iron out.

For some strange reason, if you build a certain amount of buildings or units (when I've tested it, the problem starts when it counts roughly 120 units currently built), and you try to build another building or unit, it will say "Cannot create more units." Even if the player has enough food to build more units, it just won't work. They can move their units, lift off and fly if the player is Terran, attack bases, etc., but they are unable to build more units or buildings until some of their units die in combat. Then it lets players build again, but at about the same point the problem re-occurs.

I am currently using StarForge 2.2 to build the map. If it's just a problem with StarForge, please let me know what map editor to switch to. If you need to see the map for yourself, I'll be glad to e-mail it to you. Remember, it's a Use Settings map, so if I've sent it to you check that it's on Use Map Settings before you test it.

Thanks, and I'm really sorry about the text wall.
