Bugged Items Disappear in 1.10?

#1 Is 1.10 even coming out?
#2 Should I trade for bugged items.. or will they disappear when 1.10 comes out if it does?

trade off ur bugged while you still can, get as much as possible for as little as possible, make sure to check the item lvl, cause you dont want any ilvl 99's....
ie. bugged valor for wf + @ + @
bugged eagle for wf
etc etc

get as much "gosu" legit items as possible...

Rings dropped as bugs from monsters in 1.08 will not go away, as they did naturally occur in the game. It is possible that dupes will go away, but the process will be slow and it is likely that many dupes wil exist forever on Battle.net. As for bugged and hacked items (those not naturally found in D2), I believe that it is very likely they will be deleted, though truely no-one knows.

1.) Yes patch is coming out for sure. They have come in a long way; even developing beta patches. I'm pretty sure they wouldn't be doing all that just so they won't release it.

2.) Yes, eventually, all bugged/duped items will be gone.

bugged items are the legit ones. hacked items are the imported items and iths. People interchange the terms, but they really are quite different.

That's very true, I just made the same error in the Constricting Ring Ring <--heh thread. All cons are HACKED, not bugged.


However, I was wondering. How could you test it? The 1.10 betas that I've dealt with just DELETE EVERYTHING - ridiculous yes... Also, you can't use your closed bnet chars.

Wouldn't that null any patch deletions? Just a thought
