Brute force help please

Do you guys know where a good site to gather proxies for brute force? and do you know what the ip of uswest is or do i have to have the ip of the victim?

hi, i wouldnt suggest hacking the bnet server, but if uwant to

ip:

go to msdos prompt in win.
type "ping uswest.battle.net" it gives u the ip

proxylist:

go to google and search for proxy, proxylist or something like that, there are always good lists available. u couldt also try going to a hacker forum or to a forum where ppl hack xxx-sites.

tool: use accessdiver for brute force purposes, its really fast and nice in handling

wordlist:
if u want to bf attack uswest, i sugest using wordlists i think, becos if u have some guy that isnt a dumb ass, he wont take a pass beginning with a and it will also be a quite long pass, so wordlists would be better.
there are lots of good wordlists available, i think u should also search google for this. have phun

Nice clean post. Also in order to sign on battle.net you can't use HTTP proxies (port 80,.8080) you need socks (1080)

wait then i mean if i want to hack someone on uswest i dind't mean the server lol don't i have to find their ip? and then what program is good for hunting down ips? of people not servers hehe

no, There IP is masked by B.net and I really have attempted to find a way to hunt it down.

i have an idea, ask them what it is, some people are real dumbasses and just tell people them,,, say that u wanna open b-net play them, but say open is to laggy and ask them for their ip addres, it works on some people, the dumb ones, i have gotten like 5 already

I've tried this burte forcing crap with your accessdiver, and I'd like to say WTF!?!?!?

every time I try to bf it I get a error connection refused message, I need to know the right port too it's a 20?? I know because I've done this hundreds us times in the past

well it just says that first it asks for the proxy list, done, then it ask for the ip for the battle.net server or something then it gives an example like 63.202.167.7 or somethign like that but what do I put into there? the ip of the person I wish to bruteforce? Oh and in wordlist.txt what do I put into there? Sorry for all these stupid questions but I've never used bf before.

ok, u should have a long long proxy list and put it in
u should get some new wordlists becos the basic stuff is really really old
u dont have to put in the ip of the server, u can just put "uswest.battle.ner" into the server field.
the port has to be the port that player connect to, i also dont know if this tool can only try htaccess sites or also other servers like the battle.net is one. u will find the port to connect to battle.net anywhere im sure.
just for the technic i dont know how the battle.net checks for username,password,cdkey, gameversion etc. and all this is rtansferred when u try to login, i think. and also if u multiple try wrong passwords the account will be muted for 10 minutes or so, so i dont think brute force is really efffective.
i also think that most ppl loose their accounts just becos they are stupid and download keyloggers and trojans everywhere. but im not sure about that,

if you manage to find a place with NoC Bruteforcer... it comes with a very nice dictionary file generator that includes all alphanumerics, spaces and ASCII chars...

problem is, unless you have a cluster or server farm setup, building those files can take days

use wordlists, not crap lists like 3to847tnerotg as password, no ass on the bnet uses that, most of the ppl use simple words and some numbers in the middle or at the end.

okay so how do I find out what port they are on?? and where could I get a good wordlist because on my NoC's I don't see this dictionary thing.
