Brood War Battle.net cd-key troubles

everytime i try to play brood war on battle.net, it says my cd-key is not intended for this product, how can i change my cd-key or get it to work?

Uninstall the Original SC then reinstall everything, I think thats the only way you can do it.

I never email companys. They never reply, and when they do, it doesn't help out at all!

yeah when you e-mail companies, they auto-reply with a 'message number' and say their 'technicians' are working on your problem right now, and they will get back to you with an answer as soon as possible.... they then e-mail you a day later and say 'our technicians were unable to solve your problem' ...SORRY.... lol so yeah NEVER e-mail the company... except for DELL they're pretty good about customer service... The other people take your money, and then from that point on they don't give a shit about you...
