I wouldn't really think there is a way, but then again it could be possible... Isn't the entire point of map protectors to keep people out of the map? :p well I'm pretty sure there's SOME way to do it, but I don't know how lol

Maps are protected for two reasons.

1. To Keep A map-makers work his own, and to keep rip-off maps from circulating.

2. To keep the gamer from having to play a hacked version of a REALLY good map.

I think if a maps protected than it should stay. I've tried opening a map and gotten that error and been pissed off. It just took some time to figure out how they did it by playing the map. Also we have a freat use map settings section, maybe post there about what's happening in map and they can help? :)

There is a way, but like crookedfoot said in a past post to this type of thread, instead of using your knowledge to break into a map, why not use it for the better and make an even BETTER map protector? I, myself think that the moderators of the hacking forum should stop these conversations before having the UMS fans get pissed and we have a war! :O

-edit-

if you dont know how a trigger works, make a thread in the UMS forum asking, we are sure to help! :)

I unprotected a map, its not that great, its long work (3-4 hours depending on how fast you go) And, like Dumbazz said, you learn the trigger just by playing the game. And Yes there is a program, No i don't have it, No i won't get it for you.
