Break before Shatter

I'm going to disappear from Battle Forums altogether (as from Wednesday 21st May) for a few days or weeks, depending on the circumstances between me, my travels and my family. Quite a complicated situation, from my emotional ups and downs recently and going back to the SARS infected area to having problems with my family and rebalancing my life, I want a break from the forums and internet socializing before I turn to self-destruction through bitterness.

It's very unlike me to behave this way, but the break is the only way to keep myself from going down the wrong track. The one thing that I promise you guys though, is that I'll be back by the beginning of June (latest) with a fresh start to the forums again.

Trying to contact me directly via AIM during this time will be a little hard since there wouldn't be direct internet connection, considering the fact that I'll be at my grandparents' place. It's agreeable that it's going to be inconvenient, but I'll be checking my mail every other day at amfoxlady@yahoo.com should there be a few threads for me to review/make before announcing them in public.

Cort and Maverick already know about my temporary leave, which is something that I do *not* wish to be announced outside Award Staff (not even in Battle Staff). If there's anything that needs to be announced in Chit-Chat, make a post there and ask one of them to sticky and close the thread. I'm sure that they'll be happy to help during my absence.

Working with you 3 is like having fun with a bunch of friends in a disciplined manner. Remember that our teamwork is vital to keeping this place alive.

On a more enthusiastic note: no whining while I'm gone please or I shall see to it that none of you gets any happy candies when I return.

Until then, keep everything running as normal.
