First of all this would be a first time that someone used my guide format - that is both interesting and complimentary. On that note, because there is mild plagerism in certain areas, I do ask that you make it more visable that this guide was based off of mine.

As far as some tips:

-When you copy/pasted my Table of Contents from my Fire Druid guide, you did not edit any of the roman numerals. If I told you what those meant in standard numerals you would look like you couldn't count
-Also make sure that anything listed in the TOC is located throughout the guide.
-Also be sure that the titles correspond correctly
-It seems to that you didn't spend enough time editing my guide layout to your personal guide
-You are going to need to offer more item choices to the reader
-I'm having a little problem understanding why the melee/caster strats are identical. Little too much copy/paste for me.
-If had never played d2 and followed your guide, my character would carry no charms, because you never told me what to carry in the inventory.
-I'm not convinced to make a bow assassin by your "Why" section. It's not convincing.
-You wrote less than one third of the words on this guide. That is disturbing.
-Now that I got to look at it a lot, I realize you should have added me in big bold letters under "Special Thanks" because I wrote 4/5 of this guide without knowing it. You should have also PM'ed me for permission regarding direct plagerism.
-Another problem is you used the Paladin names, which was derived from a Guide written by another person you don't know which you didn't get permission for.

I don't mean to sound like an asswhole - really I don't - because it was cool that you at least had my name at the top of the guide... but you said it was based off of my guide... Yet in all reality, you simply copy/pasted my guide, edited a few items, added one strategy list which you copy/pasted for melee/caster as if there were two different strats, changed a couple words on the leveling tips, gave us some skills and then wrote a few sentences telling us why we should make Your character --- and bam your an author. Oh yeah, and you deleted a few sections from my guide... if that matters.

If you used my guide as a... guide to making your guide (lol yeah that sounds weird) - I wouldn't have said a thing. Instead, you copy/pasted my guide and changed a few words here and there. That's why this post started out decently nice and ended decently pushy.

Ending on a lighter note, I still think it's very cool that you liked my guide enough to use it.

I wouldn't call this guide, yours at all, and i'm surprised taht you wrote Fwi's name so small, and didn't even include him in the special thanks (if you even bothered to write your own special thanks)

P.S. this was based off of FWI's guide so props to him.

First of all, 'based off of FWI's guide' Copying his guide word for word and editing it here and there is a bit more than 'based off of'.

Secondly P.S. means post script, which means you should put it AFTER everything else.




on a side note, it's nice to know that you liked his guide, but i'm sure he could have been more than capable of writing an updated version himself. basically all you changed was 'max fade' to 'max BoS'...



-constructive criticism, needs more explanations of equipment and stat choices
-poor man's equipment choices... not everyone can just say 'ok, I guess i'll just use the best of the best...'
-more indepth and class specific guide to dueling
-your table of contents says you have a 'hotkey list' but you dont...
-your 'weapon switch' portion of your equipment choices doesn't have a sheild, just call to arms...

Ill give you props for trying. but in all honesty this isnt my exact favorite guide. reasons why.
1. You mainly copy pasted from FWI about 2/3 of this guide so its not so much based off his guide, but his guide
2. No good reasons to use the gear you listed or skills
3. Why pally names?
4. Strategies were a bit iffy...
5. Why max fade and BoS u can only use one at a time

EDIT: now that i look at it. ur whole guide is practically all plagerized. u prolly copy pasted item names. and mostly everything from FWI. from now on try to use as minimum from other guides as possible. but if u do use stuff from other guides give proper acknowledgement. this isnt just "Based off of fwi's" it should be more like " a special thank you to fwi for all his material"

deaddragon. we all said good job on an attempt. we gave you what you needed to hear. we gave you constructive criticizm? and you throw it back in our face? You wont get anywhere in making guides this way. We all have made guides failed miserably etc. and even when we got criticized we didnt say "who gives a shit u picky losers". AND, we never said it was anything about the looks. ITS THE MORALITY plagerizing is very much so illegal and you did that to the fullest extent. We didnt care that it looked like FWI's work it mattered that it WAS HISWORK. and that most of your guide was HIS WORK, and you only said it was based off HIS WORK.

FWI is a great guide maker, one of the best. And i bet u he didnt start out like you are.

2) This isn't even a guide. Also the people here have done a very good job at retaining themselves without calling you a plain old dumbass, which could be easy to do if they/I wanted to.
3) I've made a bow assassin before - well before his attempt or your attempt at a guide was done. She was fun.

Oh, and just to humor myself... Here is a guide I brought over here before you were even ON these boards. Even funnier: it's located in the guides thread stickied at the top, yet you fail to recognize it was there two months before yours... PLUS its his work.
