Bnet Gem?

Okay, you all know that litle gem in the middle of your screen on bnet? If you click it it say "gem activated" what does that do? does it increase your chance to find gems in game or something??
pl help me..

Well, i dont think it is used for anything to tell you the truth. If you notice, if you keep clicking on the gem, eventually it'll turn to " Perfect Gem Activated " i think its just there for when you get bored

b.net just put it there for a laugh. they probably have a thingy that shows them how many times the gem was pressed even though it's completely useless

well i noticed that upgraded gems fell out when i did the cow lvl. for example i always found chipps and the i started finding normal and flawless

the gem in the middle was kept a secret for a long time
it was later released that the gem actually did nothing

tho some ppl still believe that it gives them "special abilities"

like above better gems were mentioned, some say better mf

but everyone knows its just there to toy with ppl

that being said i always turn mine on b4 i play out of habit

When it has been clicked once, it activates -- causing a blue glow to appear through the Gem. When it is clicked again, it deactivates and the glow disappears. Rarely a perfect gem activation will occur instead of the usual Gem activation.

Blizz was going to impliment a feature, voice communication, and the gem activated it. Never got to final so they decided its not worth the effort to remove it... Just a joke

sorry for responding so late....i had my power out for about six days....anyway, i figured that it didnt do much. And by the way, how many times do you have to press it to make it say "prfect gem activated" i did it over 300 times and nothing...

I like to push the gem because the color is cool. I never knowed the thingy turned perfect

its kind of sad if you think about it i mean spending all that time pushing a button that does nothing
i feel bad becaus instead of cowing i wasted time pushing a button
dont get me wrong pushing buttons is fun but this one is a waste
it shoule be removed and replaced with something more fun
something that will help you
something that shows your friends list when pushed
or something that gives you a random joke or quote
or makes fun of the different character classes
that would be worth the time people spend pressing it
