alright, duno if this has been asked before, hope it hasnt cause im blind then... and all heed warning before responding. leave no reply if it's a useless reply... only reply if you have a logical idea or suggestion, thanks.

sc runs off that one port, and only one port, 6112 i believe? computers behind a router mascarade the ip allows multiple computers on WAN to have the same ip. battlenet doesnt like this and thus not letting multiple computers behind a router play sc online. you'll get that latency issue cause bnet doesnt know where to send both data to.

(d2 allows multiple comps because its port range is wider, same with wc)

now... people have told me to change registry information on battle net to manually connect via another port, well... either it didnt work or my hex was off. and other people have told me to forward 1 port to one comp and leave the other as a mascarade.. niether work.

if you have an idea or suggestion thats untested but seems logical please post, please refrain from posting about past experience and how you can't get it to work either, thanks.

BNet runs off of port 6112 as well as 1024, and many others. Never just one... especially.. if you uninstall it, then reinstall, when it is updating it, it will open a new port 2222, and then you can connect to BNet with another computer and it will leave 2222 open... causing absolutely no latency issues. :) Thank for your time young padawan.

yea im sorry, im not following... 6112 is used for all in/out calls. where has 2222 come into play? battle.net focus on 6112-6119 for gaming. yet Im unsure where you're going with using port 2222. please explain some more if you could. thanks
