Many people have stated the reason its console only is because they started in consoles and want to get back to their roots.
If they want to expierience their roots again, why are they having another company (Nihilistic) do the programming? That means they don't get the full expierience of their roots like they're claiming they want(and that basically means they write the story line, and make the units, and then Nihilistic does the rest (artwork, programming, etc) for them ,
This hereby makes their excuse of revisiting their roots BS... , as they're basically playing the same roles they'd play in a PC designing (they're doing the concepts and storyline, Nilihistic programs it... aka.... the part bliz is playing is the same part they'd play if it was PC-Only as well)

Many people argue that this is the link between Starcraft and Starcraft 2's story line.
If this is the case, why are we required to purchase a console in order to get up-to-date with the story-line that links the two?
(Personally I hate consoles, and theres others like me who won't get the ghost for their own reasons why they wont get consoles. -- So, unfortunately, me and others won't be able to get the information on the storyline that links the two.
Guess I'll have to just fill in the blanks myself

People claim that its for console so they can extend their fan base (e.g. get 12 year olds into starcraft so they buy the original starcraft for pc). Well. I understand this... but how would it having it for both PC *AND* Console ruin that opportunity for it's fan-base to extend?
Conclusion
Really, I don't understand why its console-only and don't see why they're doing this.
Does anyone have any reason why they're doing this.... as these reasons people have given don't make sense
I'd like to hear posts of people who feel the same ;-)
