Reminds me of the year that I got Starcraft (classic) for my birthday. Only better present was the one that my boyfriend gave me.

I didn't get into SC until about 2-3 years after it came out. The most I ever saw the original was $20.

Being a major RTS player, and the fact I got SC the day it came out, I did pay $49.99 for it, plus tax. One of the best $50 I've ever spent. Then I had to go and scratch the discs up real bad and then paid $20 for the BattleChest, lol.

SC is one of those games you have to have if you're a major RTS fan.

MSRP stands for Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price.

In other words, what Blizzard wanted(and DID) to charge for it when it FIRST came out. StarCraft is now less then $10 (US Dollars).
