Bizarre Doodad Hack

Just the other night, an opposing zerg player used a hack that I had never before encountered. He would somehow sacrifice his units and receive 100 gas for each, but the most curious part was that a doodad was left in the units' place. Does anyone know what this hack was?

If the doodad looks a like a rock, it is most likely the rock hack.

No, I didn't crash, but there were rocks all over the place -- stonehedge-looking doodads. They even saved with the replay, which I've included here for posterity.
