Big time nOOb need's help!

Hey'all!
Im playin protoss atm...but im really really really bad

well I got a replay here, I actually won! My acc is "UberAlles" Im playin with the brown protoss and a RL friend of mine (white zerg)...I would be really happy if some1 could gimme some tips on what Im doing wrong thx

Money map, and hackers (some guys hacked there, it was easy to see so )

Anyway, first of all, in those maps, if you see you don't have much mins or gas, just build more drones and gather more.

Then, atack, keep atacking. You had your troops stationed for a long time, when, in those maps, you can keep refreshing it...

Build more gateways, and just mass goons, usually works in those maps...

how do you tell? and well I usually play money map...you know:

Only noobs play money maps

But Im dumb to build more gates...I get all confused when I have to click on 8 buildings at the time

Well, just pratice and you'll stop getting confused

Try hotkeying your gateways...much easier

Just keep pumping whatever unit you want. For example mass goons, build like 6 or 8 gateways. # them 1-6 or something, and keep pumping, even after u send them to attack. Pump N attack, don't give them time to retaliate.

all ya need is to keep building cause then then they'll be too busy defending. Soon u overrun em. My hint is to build assims on all vespeene and have 2 nexuses. The extra one stationed for a shorter route to vespene. Also have 2 probes on ea assim. Last get probes until u see that ur minerals go up with out stopping. And u might wanna number just one of ur gateways so then it centers it and then u have more space for ur goons. Oh yah how did u hack ur posts? Ur posts stay the same even after u posted twice

Massing goons is not the best idea unless they are upgraded and you know how to micro them very well. (And no offense, but, I don't think you know very much about that). protoss is used not for massing creatures, but economizing and using spells and magic as key. Your units are very precious, and since they cost alot, you should not be careless and let them die without support.

Try hotkeying your gateways...much easier

This is very true. If you are teching up and you have about only 2 gateways, number them 4 and 5. While you are launching an attack, big or small, always press those numbers and start producing more troops while you micro your troops around. Try not to get TOO caught up in glory Good luck as protoss and I hope I helped.

underused units........... reavers and templar the 2 most important units of the protoss......... u should also get sum z's to focus enemy attacks on and let ur goons live :\

True, true, true! Just make sure you build the scarabs into the revears and hot key them also. I've had personal experiences with reavers attacking without any scarabs....:fwink

But it is a money map so they aren't as precious.
