anyways, you have to be more specific, theres multiple builds for each class, all of which require different runewords...

Armor: Fort: CoH, Enigma
Melee weapon: Ebotdz, Greifz
Caster Weapon: Hoto
Helm: Delirium
Sheild: Exile

These are the basic most used runeword. All of them go great with a pally.
Im not sure about other classes though.

Similar question: runeword armor for my hammerdin's merc. He's got insight, tal's helm and some random rare armor right now. Should I go with fort?

An etheral fortitude or stone would be optimum choices. Another to look at is an upgraded (eth) shaftstop, it gives quite a bit of damage reduction so he won't die. I think my sorc's merc used a fort and my hammerdin's used a shaftstop.

Maybe you are just putting an uneccessary soj in the recipe and it is getting eaten up with the rest, it doesn't require a soj.

1 Ko Rune + 1 Lem Rune + 1 Perfect Diamond + Exceptional Unique Armor = Elite Version of Armor (Single Player, Ladder Only)
This formula changes the base item type from the exceptional to elite version. For example Ghost Armor is turned into a Dusk Shroud. This does NOT convert the item to the Elite Unique version of the Unique Item. Unique item bonuses remain the same; only the item it's based on is upgraded. This can be used to upgrade Ethereal Items also. They will continue to be Ethereal after they are upgraded. You cannot do this formula unless you are using a Ladder Character. Also if the item is socketed, then jewels or runes and their mods will also remain. Armor refers to any sort of armor, including helms, boots, belts, gloves and shields, not just body armor.

As for the runewords, the majority of the 1.10 runewords (that require high runes) are good for at least one character build. They can be found here.

Alright, I guess i was wrong. Thanks for setting me straight Johnny.

Oh and Eric. Enigma is a runeword thats most importantly gives +1 to teleport. Making it a must for any non sorc caster. Not to mention 2 to all skills. Hoto gives great fcr and resist, plus 3 to all skills. Ebotdz is a great one handed melee weapon due to its added ED and chance to cast Poison Nova on strike. Fort is great armor for barbs and such due to its crazy added defense and chance to cast frozen armor on struck. CoH is good for character that don't want a fort and don't need tele. It adds 2 to all skills and a hell of resistances. Making it a must for any sorc. I haven't had much experience with a greifz i just know its the shit. Finally Exile is wanted because of its added smite damage, resistance, and defiance aura when equipped.

Lol. I just got Nez fired back up. It's my passion, lol.

I'm afraid I probably won't be playing East Ladder, bud. I can't STAND normal D2. The tiny stash/inventory ALONE makes me just shudder...besides, I'm not built for server play...my internet is NOT up to par with a server...my wireless router's firewall (which I might add is NOT going to be compromised for D2) says to hell with any decent gamespeed, and dial-up lately has been quite in demand by other members of the household, in spite of our two lines. I'm afraid some weak TCP/IP is all I can do, bud.

Therefore, NEZ PASSION OVERFLOWING! Besides, I'm on a campaign to make some absolutely broken equipment for sale, as a way to drum up traffic and enhance the Nezfun.
