"The Best PVP"
Thats redundant. My friends and I have spent hours thinking of the best build .. or ideas for a godly one, and then doing it. Each class has something that will target a vulnerability in another class. For example: slow missles on a zon or on a sanctuary will screw fb sorcs, other zons, and missle attacks. Light absorb + 4 topaz'd monarch and a good def can counter most foh'ers. (a good cs zon takes alot of skill to beat). Each class has its strengths and weaknesses.
When it comes to PvP, the person controlling the character is more important than the items. Equally important, is building the char right. (whichever char it may be.)
In 1.10, casters have a greater advantage over melee. I like melee just as much, but lets face it, melee gets owned by most casters. a paladin with doom, is REALLY strong due to the fact that holy freeze slows tele by 75%. CS zons are also really versatile and strong fighters. They have a good advantage, because they do much dmg with their cs attack (melee), and then they have lightning fury. LF is good because its a ranged attack, and also contains physical dmg instead of only lightning.
In conclusion, there is no such thing as the best PvP character. It all depends on what character your dueling, if your experienced and GOOD at dueling, and then gear. I never start a character until i know for sure what the build will be, and have all the items for it. Also, stat points and skill points are critical. Putting skill points into unnecessary things is a HUGE waste ... due to the fact that you now are not getting as much dmg as you possibly could be (synergies).
Here is a list of some of the most versatile, strongest builds.
Hammerdin. Hammerdins are some of the best if you can duel with them. It takes practice at first, but its possible. (ENIGMA RECCOMMENDED).
Melee Sorc. Melee sorecress. Crazy Idea? no way. Melee sorcs have the bonuses of tele as a skill, and energy shield to absorb dmg, and frozen armor to freeze attackers. Hook a melee sorc up with the right gear, and your doing good.
CS Javazon. Versatile. Powerfull with mid level gear. Enough said.
Bowazon. IF built right, EXTREMELY powerful. no questions asked.
FB/BLIZZ sorc. These are a few of the most popular .. due to the high levels of dmg they get from synergies, and they are very versatile mfers and duelers.
Orb Sorc. Really good for tanking attacks if you pump mana and us ES. Built right, they are fierce competitors to most classes.
Melee: Axe barb or zealadin.
