Best pvm char?

what is the best pvm char, that is rounded, can rush (through hell), can mf (doesnt have to have teleport), can possibly get keys and do uber
sorry if this is a lot to have in one char, but if there is a char that does all this, i would like to make one (personally i think a zealot might be able to...)

hmmm, i just dont like hammerdins for some reason...could be friend stole items while i tried to xfer it all...and then account got hacked once i finally got new gear for him...and then ladder reset right after i restarted playing...then account got banned when i tried easy map , yeah, seems like everything stemmed from when i made the char., otherwise

first off, you dont get ur account hacked, u are a newb and youd ownload a trojan/keylogger.

sorces can do it well, but depending on what element youc hose, you are going to have difficult areas [and i mean pains in the ass's]
for instance, lightning sorces will PWN keyruns 90% of the time, but will do CRAP for mf runs [kills slow]
a cold sorc will PWN mf runs, but will have some trouble with countess [imunes alot] and will be ****ed in hell mode rushes [as with any sorc]

if you want to be different, you COULD try an enigma barb, or possibly enigma w/ fort in stash barb tele to your destination, switch, kill

hammerdin is ur best bet. smiters/zealers suck cause of the fact they cant tele.

yeah was talking to old friend on aim, and since they had thought i had quit, they had taken everything, sorry for my second of forgetfulness

and if it had to be a cheap build (i.e. without enigma...) would a zealot/smiter be the best second choice? i dont care much about not being able to tele, killing stuff is fun (personally) plus more chances to get random items (btw no one answered my post about why smiters are so good? it looks to me like zealots would be much better)

As said already, Hammerdins pwn in pvm. If you cant afford that then a nice sorc will do.

For Ubers - Smiter
everything else is good but not as good.

id go with hammerdins any day, my hammerdin only has a spirit sword and a 2 pally skills helm and he does 3.8k damamge he has no charms or anything and he still pwns lol u jus gota kno how to use them otherwise youll get pwnd urself lol

yea my hdin only hits 13k but i have ptorch, anni, and a Poffensive gc, thought i would hit more but i guess not.

You should be doing 15k easy with proper gear, torch and anni. Add Combat charms (not offensive charms) and you can go as high as 18-19k easy.

Gear should be:
Shako (Umed)
Enigma
Hoz / Spirit Shield
Hoto / CtA
Magefist
Treks
2x Soj
Maras
Arachnids

Hammerdins aren't the best mfers though, because they need special gear, go with a sorc for mf.

Every class of character needs gear, thats what sets them apart. The reason they are the best is do to the fact that their is almost nothing immune to the huge damage output that the Hammerdin does. A sorc on the other hand their are lots of immunes to one or more elements, which makes them inferrior to a hammerdin.

Yes naked the Sorc is better then a Hammerdin, but then again, who the hell plays a character naked. As far as "special gear" goes, their is nothing out of the ordinary that a sorc can not use to better itself. So I don't see where "special gear" comes into play.

i think he means like hammerdins need enigma to be good. which they dont. he just see's sorceress having an advantage by being able to tele without using "special gear" aka enigma

actually a hammerdin can pwn the hell out of shit in mf as well

just trade out the normal gear as following:

replace:
soj's w/ Pnagels or 31+ MF magic rings
Maras w/ MF amy [if you want]
Um'd shako w/ Ptopaz shako
travs w/ Treks
Magefists w/ Chancies


that, along with gheeds and some MFSC's will give you a nice set of MF, and still do around 10-11k damage

i think he means about sorcs being better, but however dragnskull, i do believbe they are better for mfing FOR CHEAPER, thats just my opinion though
