shako is good for the +2 skills. trang set gloves good for fcr and +2 curses. trang belt is popular but I don't know why... homunculus unique shield also commonly used for the +skills. silkweaves are good shoes (increase mana), SOJ for a ring (+1 skills, extra mana) or two, and maras is a good amulet for the +2 skills and 20%-30% resists. "white" runeword on a good wand with useful extra base skills helps, otherwise blackhand key will work. put summon gc's in your inventory. get some armor with +skills. skullders (+1) or valor (+1-2) would be good, unless you can get your hands on chains (+2) or enigma (+2).

Basically, if you see anything with: +All Skills, +Necromancer Skills, +Curses, +Poison and Bone Skills, or +Summoning Skills, you're set to go.

And go to the S&T forum for items...

I have some decent stuff im sure other people have better. But my best is prolly my weapon. It's a champion grandfather sword.

IMO-

Best Necro Summoning Items are:

Weapon slot: Arm Of King Leoric- No doubt the best pure Summoning item for the Necro. Plus skills for summoning are great.

HOTO- +3 to all skills, caster rate, and mana recharge. Expensive item though.

Helm- Shako, Delirium, or +2 summoning skills helm

Boots- Marrowalks with +2 skel mastery

Armor- Trangs, CoHonor, Enigma [Not Bramble- that armor is suited for a PSN necro]

You could go with the full trangs set. It isn't the worst option and it does offer +3 all skills, and the fire skills are good to help clear tight areas.

Don't use a WHITE wand. This wand is for the Bone Necro, it will give you +4 to skel mastery, but the Arm fo Leoric is the much better option. And the level requirements are almost the same.
