Best Jhorror flick?

Haven't shat my pants in a movie for a good long while now....

Anyone have a recommendation as to the scariest J/K/C horror movie they've ever seen?

the best Asian "horror movie" was Audtitiion, but that was more blood than horror. still, you want to squeal in your chair, watch it.

The Ring was decent, because it was unnerving because you didn't really understand it all. With the ring 2 it became a stupid American Monster movie, wtf. The rest of the Jhorro remakes (Pulse, one missed call, the Grudge, etc) have all been really ****ty, and unscary, begging the question what the **** is wrong with hollywood that not only do they make ****ty American movies, they make ****ty remakes of Japanese movies.

Yeah, I'm more talking the original japanese films though.....seen most of the american remakes that are out there, and they blow.

gore doesn't really do it for me..it's the creepiness and overall disturbing feel of the atmosphere that does the trick.

Redneck Zombies

Its a troma release (example toxic avenger, and class of nukem high) Its not much for story, or atmosphere, it is however hilarious, and one of the most goriest horror movies in existance, so much that I felt it might be inapropriate to even link to the trailer of it. You can find it on youtube.

This isn't a Jhorror movie, but It is a Korean movie that I loved (although it is the only movie I have seen from over there), Old Boy. Check it out, it is a great movie, although watch it with subtitles, not the crapy american dubs
