Hes never died at pindle, and never has he gotten passed 1/2 life

But if i decide to meph, he dies nearly everytime

You say kill quicker? I kill as fast as I can with a pretty sick blizz sorc

Runes/Jewels to help my gorm stay alive?

Btw.... how long do they level on pindle for?

My merc started at 80 and i was 85.... now hes 85

All mercs will die on meph eventually, thats just the way it is, ive never had/seen a merc be able to tank meph for more then a minute, they usually die within 10-20 seconds

I've never used an act 5 merc, but I've found that a good act 2 will be able to hold his own against meph until I can kill him(about 20-30 seconds.)

No, the problem is another: you can't leech from Meph. Since leech is critical to keep mercs alive, non-leeching situations (Hell Meph, Diablo, Souls) are very difficult for them.

I used to have a wand with Life Tap charges on swich. I just casted life tap on meph and my merc usually survived .

Got tired of repairing it though, and realised that the moat trick is easier anyways.

Moat takes longer though. Merc tanking is super fast, and who doesn't want fast runs?
