i was wondering what the best char was for the start of ladder in terms of which char dies the least finds the best items etc.... o yah forgot to tell you this is other than a sorc they are so boring for me right now so im looking for something uncommon like a necro or something since all ive really played since 09 is a sorc

Well if your just starting ladder than Im assuming you not super-rich. An inexpensive, decent char wo make would be some kind of Paladin other than hammerdian, or a wind druid. Those are from my experiences.

easy one would be a summoner necro, doesn't need alot of items, can kill really fast, and 2 of the maxable skills are lvl1.

for something a bit harder you could try a hammerdin, bone necro or wind druid.

how about a mf sorc i think you would need something like an orb sorc to first get you started with some decent items

2 someone's in this case ;)

But I agree, a necro would probably be suited best. Melee characters tend to require very expensive weapons and gear to compete. However, since caster damage is linked to your skills rather than your massive weapon, they tend to fare better when on a budget.

Or a horking barb. Those shouldn't be too hard. You'd just leech and well....hork like crazy. You'd find good gear eventually!
