Best Build for MFing Meph? Help!

-_- ive been wondering whats the best build for mfing meph. I hear blizzard is good... but im not sure. So if u can help me it would really help. Oh yeah, if you state a type can u PLEASE tell me what skills to max? Thanx

Max Ice Bolt
Max Frozen Orb
Max Thunderstorm
Max Lighting Mastery
10 pts in Cold Mastery
1 pt in teleport

Its not the best, but its works for me..

Well i kno i should have spent the pts in fire for a secondary att, but I'm a frozen orb user.

Too many conflicting stories, everyone has their own opinions. I guess trial and error is the only true way to learn, that's how I'm going to do it. I have a meteor sorc right now, I'm going to try a Blizz/Orb sorc next.

what u guys think? would that be a good combo to kill meph? cuz i hear blizzard is really good against meph... but im not for sure. This sorce would be made to only do meph runs in hell mode...

My taktik is pretty old, but it works like a dream on meph.
My old lvl 95 1.9 sorc has firewall(orb became pretty boring in 1.9) and nova(to kill cows). I do a meph run in hell in about 2 min.
And all my gear does plus in mf so my firewall is'nt so good. Whit all my gear i my firewall does like 11000dmg/s.

Yeah I probably sound a noob here, but why not a con/ww barb for hell meph runs? I guess its a little slower than a sorc who can tele through walls though I usually finish a run in 2 or 3 min max with my barb. I just ww through the mobs on the way there, leap over the moat and kill meph. Pretty painless really.

Does anyone else do this or am i the only moron who uses a barb for mfing?

You arent a moron. Now that we have enigma armor, any class can do a run quickly. Barbs can also have greater MF due to the fact that they can weild 2 mf weapons at once.

yeah like a 99 barb with 2 dubble isted ali babas=318mf just from weapons... pop on a shako and bam now you are at 368-394, and that is like the best place to be. Also lets not forget enigma adding mf too.

either way, sorc is ideal char for mf, barb with mfing things, cant kill meph now, since melees cant leech of meph.
Heres what i did and many ppl that iknow do:
20 fire bolt
20 fire ball
20 meteor
1 warmth
1 teleport
1 frozen shield (the one that shoots ice bolt)

Jus do River Meph and u'll be fine.
Also, dont learn energy shield, jus get it from the magic/rare orb, and use it for weapon switch.

Max out blizz/syns/cold mastery(last)

I do about 5.8k with this on blizzard. Use the moat trick. I have yet to die and I do runs w/ MH in about 1 min/20 sec. Andy runs are even faster.

ok this is the beeest MF sorcie ---- Guaranteed dun listen to other sorc buils --- this one = well balanced/GODLY

EDIT: ANY GOOD METEOR SORC NEEEEEDS a STRONG MERC!

build is - fire/cold
specifically - Meteor/Orb

PUT +1 - into every elec skill
PUT +1 - into every skill up to METEOR and ORB
PUT +1 - INTO SHIVER ARMOR (first armor - sorcs arent spposed to get hit alot, so this is fine)
MAX:
Meteor, Orb, Warmth, AND Fire Mastery

this gives u static, tstorm, TELE, orb, meteor, and shiver armor, all a sorcs critical skills.

this sorc is perfect -- sux at dueling (heh no max lightning/blizzard/syns) but MEPH DIES LIKE THAT
... and U DONT

the beauty of it - i got +12 to skills (cold mastery reduces cold resists 70%, meteor is up at 7.5 k DMG [does like 2k for every sec there in the fire], static tstorm and tele bot hhave +12, so those are decent...)

My sorc can do runs extremly fast. She does 500 orb, and has found ALOT of crap due to the fact that she is fast...

Try to hit him with the last orbit of the FO and it'll take a CRAPLOAD of life off him. My sorc on NL doing 1100 orb can kill him in 2 direct hits.
