Battlefront meets...lord of the rings?

Pandemic, the guys behind the battlefront series, are moving onto a new movie franchise(i say movie franchise as opposed to book because the art direction very much takes after the movies, although supposedly there will be several battles from the books in addition to the movies). You will be able to play as the side of good or evil as lowly footsoldiers. The idea of running through the shire as a ring wraith hacking cutesy hobbits sounds ideal.

I guess if you like Battlefornt this might be awesome.

Personally LOTR is already over saturated, and it will take a few big crashes to finally end the pandemic it has caused in games. If anyhting this game looks like it would have been huge a few years ago, but now it it just a little late to the game.

It looks pretty cool...too bad I won't ever buy a next gen console for just one game like some people. xD

Though if I feel bored enough while waiting for SC2/D3....

LOTR as a franchise is tired and played out. find something more interesting to make a game about.
