Alright for a couple weeks, i've been working on a battleforums defense map, the premise is of course, the you, with the help from the BF mods (i.e. heros), work to keep the spammers and hackers from doing damage to BF and what not. I was curious, other than Trojan_Man's lame attempt (yes i can say that, he's my friend) has anyone else attempted such a map?

Now that i got my section cleaned up and stuff in order, i'd like to get working on my map some and if someone had made it, i was curious on how many levels they had, or even if not, how many levels do you guys think i should make?

I'll add more questions/what not as i get to them. group effort yay!

I know Cort showed me a version a while ago which I *believe* he was working on. You'd have to ask him about it though :p

well in the warcraft section we have been trying to make Bf themed maps for a while now and so far the hero line war is the only one that has actully mad it to umm production shall we say
as for starcraft i have not heard any one talk about a SC BF map

Akule made a BF related golem map. Ranzogaga made a BF related madness map. coRt started Project Sampo, but gave up on it.

Renzokuken's madness map was a little imbalanced if I remember correctly. VizjereiMage and someone else, whoever was ranged totally owned everyone else like a blackman destined to get more weed. It was sad, then he balanced it. Arguably, it was one of the only madness/mass and attack maps that was fairly balanced that I've ever played. Most of the other ones we're really stupid, crappy, or unfun to play.

Iknad was undefeatable on the latest version Renz had and it was super buggy.

One of these days I might get back around to that map. I really liked the concept I had going, and I've always wanted to make a playable RPG. The biggest problem I ran into was enemy units getting too weak as people upgraded (I could always limit main base's upgrade level), and a way for the heros getting out of the base as it was constantly under assault by spammers/hackers/warez posters.
