As well as cloaking and blowing control centers with the enemy defending it.

Haven't played a Battlefield game since Vietnam. I really lost all hope in the series after watching it get EA'D so many times.

Is there anything that actually sets it apart from the previous games?

Same with Beck, cept I gave BF2 a last ditch try and it just sucked total bollocks. I try to avoid all things EA now.

2142 is not worth the money in my opinion, I played the demo and the game play was exactly the same as BF2. It is nothing more then a BF2 with new models, the new game play mode is dumb as well, nothing exciting.

i got it but the damn thing wont let me play online, i enter a game [tried all forms of latency, good medium and bad] and within 10 seconds it boots me out of the game.

it's what happens when something comes out in the E-entertainment industry that makes a lot of money. People try to capitalize on its success by emulating it.

Case in point, the bajillion diablo and warcraft clones out there.
