Battle.net with diablo 1

i haven't play d1 in years, i install and try to go on bnet and it can't connect!
and i got dsl! wtf!? am i the only 1? does bnet still do d1? whats up...

any help greatly appreciated

i try also and it stays idle for 4 mins and gives same error tho i dont play ne more

Okay, whats the error say for one, you people need to be more descriptive. For one, Make a battle.net account. THEN make pass, YOUR account will be your currently seleted charater's name, it how its always been, SO, say you chars name is "l33t on3" And your account name is "p00p0n Newb" DONT USE YOUR ACCOUNT USE "l33t on3"! then w/e the pass is you used. whatever, d1 is so nub that even if bnet still works for it noone would play ^^

Try downloading the standalone patch from www.battle.net and installing it, then connecting to b.net.
