Battle.net no-cd problem. HELP!!

I have the no-cd patch, which works fine for single-player. I also have a valid cd-key, the one on my friends game, which I borrowed to install on my computer. I want to play with my friends over the internet, which is not possible, because apparently I need to validate my version, which must require the cd to do. How do I get around this?

err.. u can always insert your disc.. its not hard you know?

Also, if u and ur friend has same cd keys and both are on same realm, it wont work... why do you think cd keys even exist then lol, everyone would jus burn cds and play with only 1 cdkey

anyways, u can always play in seperate realms.. or find a cd key or buy one.

What I thought I implied was that I had to return my friend's FT cd, and therefore do not have it any longer. I must have edited it out for some reason . I have my original RoC cd, and can use battle.net with that, but I want to be able to use TFT on battle.net as well. The fact I do not have the cd is my problem.
