Barb gloves

what r the best gloves for a shield and sword barbarian?

Probably IK for the dex/str....
Using IK u can invest another 40pts into vit. One pt into vit on a barb gives 4 life, so 40pts would add another 160 life. With high lvl BO, this would go to 320 life...not too shabby

I think it depends on if you want to be fast. If so you want gloves with 30 IAS like sigons or death set combined with belt or boots (boots sigons..)

If you not want to be fast and have great life leech i would do mf instead and use Chance Guards

If it's a ww barb then ias on anything but the weapon is pointless...your main attack is ww, your not going to be attacking normally very often...

Yes i know, but i wrote "it depends on if you want to be fast", this is if you´re doing a frenzy barb or berserkbarb or something like that. And when you have to kill phys immune monsters you can´t use ww and have to use berserk, then you need IAS. And if you don´t know it, IAS also helps you get more hits in ww (until a limit - don´t know which) and there is still great life leech.

Other than that i say IK gauntlets with the same arguments as you Arkhon.

I agree that the IAS would be helpful for berserking, but i'd still go the IK

BTW...IAS not on the weapon has no impact on WW speed.

it's been debated many, many, many times and IAS not on the weapon does not affect ww speed.

ie. Weapon IAS.

P.S. Trust me on this, only weapon IAS effects WW speed.

haha true....but i doubt after the 1.10 patch comes out they will be any good though.....also they are a little Xpensive

yeah i read it too and thought like you and maybee you´re right, i don´t know (do you really know). But in real life it shouldn´t be any difference, increased speed is increased speed wherever it comes from (because you´re faster), but i can´t prove you wrong because i don´t know. ik gloves ... alot more dam and some dex for ar and chance to block

lava gouts arnt that good for a barb

otherwise why do you think so many ppl use shaelshaeleth ccb?
the sword whirlwind break points are at -10 and -35, so a ccb needs 40ias and a ccs needs 45. a balrog blade/berserker axe only need 35, but since neither can be cruel and have 3 sockets, it doesn't help them at all.
