Bad drops with HIGH mf? how does mf work?

Hi, how do yo umake a good MF character!

I made a necromancer, lvl 90, with 549% MF
shako = 74% mf
skulders = 124% mf
ammy = 33% mf
nagelring = 26%
nagelring = 23%
goldwrap = 30%
malibro's shield = 20%
boots = 33%
gloves = 37%
gheeds = 34%
gull dagger = 100%
charms = 3 + 6 + 3 + 3 = 15%

that ADDS up to 549% MF

And when i do meph runs or andy, and diablo, i always get shit drops!, i never got good stuff, the closest stuff that i got that was good was trangs gloves, the rest nothing good

How does mf work?
i hear from people that its whoever takes the last hit?
i hear that u gotta play with alot of people to get good drops?

is it that last hit? cause i am a summon necro and i always have like 24 skeletons and alot of revives killing them, am i suppose to take the last hit? or just watch them beat the boss? how does mf really work? plz tell me, thanks

i think your supposed to make the last hit, thats what i hear also, maybe u should try it, because mf doesnt work for skeles, if u have bonespear or w/e, when boss is about to ie, unsummon all ur skeles and use a skill to defeat him

if skeletons kill or you kill it doesnt matter, just as long as you or your minions or mercenary gets the last kill. magic find just increases your chance to get items, which are pretty crappy to begin with, so dont expect a whole lot. you must do MANY runs to get stuff, so dont expect to be 1337 within 20 runs. and also, the actual amount of MF you recieve per % of magic find starts to decrease after 100% (aka diminuishing returns)

dont play in games with a lot of ppl. meph/andy/who ever is a lot harder to kill and the small mf boost u get isnt worth it.

You or your minions, spells, or merc all take into account your MF. Mercs add theirs to yours if they get the first kill.

Zero_Loser is wrong. Cert is correct in the sense that you must do a LOT of runs to get good items. Sometimes you must do thousands of runs before you find the item(s) you're looking for. Don't give up.

alrite thx guys, ive only done 5 meph runs in hell alone and only got 1 trang gloves thats good, yeh its in hell
