First off, this is basically about how Governor Schwarzeneggar is wanting to change the law in the constitution that states that you must be Naturally born in the United states. And if my memory serves me wrong, your parents have to be americans too?(not sure on that one dont flame ^^)

I think as long as the person is an american citizen and has done all the immigration tests and has lived in America for an extended amount of time tere should be no reason to not let them. I don't think this is a type of discrimination but more of a security type of thing. When this was written it was so that no british cdould be even eligible to be president. But now I don't think that an English president would affect anything.

Your parents don't have to be born within the States, just you. And I think its a great law, I think they should make as many qualifications for President as possible, to help filter out some of the dumbasses.

or "was invented in america, but by foreigners!"

Well, i like the point that amrtin77 said about people sayin "your president is not even american!!!" That is most probably the only porbably case against removing that law.

Omg.... no he doesn't, that was just in a movie, and they asked him about it on a talk show, and he said no. This is a complete lie. If not state your proof.

I thought the law was that you had to be either a natural born citizen, or a person that got citizenship and had maintained it for some odd years.

When he became governor I remember a story saying that he was starting his term on or about the same time he became eligable for a presidential campaign.
They even showed a clip from Demolition Man where they took the charactors by the Arnold Schwarzeneggar presidential library.
(It was a fictitious futuristic setting)
And used that as a joke on how entertainment can reflect on possible realities.

Look at Reagan, he started as an actor, got into ploitics, and went from there.
Natural born or not, if Arnie does a good job in California, I say give him a chance.

I guess Arnold wanted more power after being a King in the "Conan the Barbarian" series. He decided he would go on to bigger and greater things like GOVERNOR or PRESIDENT... I think his mind lacks a few escential components.
