1 week the dow lost 1,000 points and today it is on course to lose another 300 pts.
The nasdaq has lost nearly 15% in the past month.

Do you think we are going to lose the Nasdaq and DOW soon?

Well, there was a guy who asked that question on BNN today. He was asking 2 analysts what their opinion was on the economy and if it would lead to a Depression scenario to the 1930s. Although that is an extreme case, it could happen - but it was resolved with World War 2 coming to life.

They were mostly discussing about Gold prices. And that was believed to be the economic factor that was holding it all up. But then I had to leave for school, it probably would have gone on to discuss NASDAQ and the TSX.

I do not know where the root of the problem was, like an error in calculations, scared business owners ready to flop, or the fact when this was all to be resolved in an 800 billion US dollar bailout - it got rejected mostly by Republicans.

So to answer your question - I don't know.

All the bailout was going to do was buy off the unsucessful components that were so-called, causing this stock market to fall. Just because you weed out the failing parts, doesn't mean it will help fix things.

I don't think the Bailout Plan has even been implemented yet.

the more important question is how are we going to survive when the economy collapses. you should probably quit your bullshit job/college and start learning how to cultivate crops

and they're probably too polite to turn you away if you just show up and are like "hey can I crash in your barn for the next couple years?"
