sup, not sure if this belong here but its a headphone and whatnot (audio equipment?)

but has anyone used this headphone, i head great things about it and all. i was planning on getting some new ones like the akg k701 but the sony's have a huge ass frequency range and detachable cord and whatnot....
very sexy...

anyone? i dont want to plop down the cash for something crap. (e.g. the PS3... then again i don't own a PS3)

sennheiser hd650
shure e500pth
and
audio technicas ath-a900

the shures being the costliest at 350ish
and the sennheisers at 300ish at the time of purchase...

Depends what you wanna use em for.. Youre aware that the sound quality is only going to be as good as the source of it? If you have low bitrate music and use 1/8" phone jacks, then it doesnt matter how good your speakers or headphones are. The only benefit of it is that the sound wont distort.

We all get by with like citronic hp500s and skullcandy GIs.. What do you use them for just out of interest? Monitoring? Casual listening? Technics RPDJ1200 would be more than good enough for anything i need headphones for man.. Theyre only like £100, whatever that is in $.
