Hello x42bn6,
First off, I would like to personally apologize to everyone for the
recent downtime. Our forums, http://www.battleforums.com , suffered a
bit of trouble over the weekend, which caused some confusion amongst
members and made battleforums in-accessible for several of you
throughout. On Saturday, our old servers were down because of a massive
worm that hit our ISP, which caused us nearly 12 hours of downtime.
Then, on Sunday, we moved servers, which again caused a few temporary
errors for many of you who tried to use the lost password form and other
services. However, we are proud to announce that the server move was
very successful and we are now completely moved over, so we urge all of
you to visit the site and start posting again! For those of you who
haven't visted the forums in a while, I definately recommend you do!
Alot of things have changed over the past few months and
http://www.battleforums.com has never been a greater place to talk about
your favorite blizzard games!
On a side note (and more positive, might I add), we are coming up on
10,000 members and also 100,000 posts. This is a huge milestone and
obviously wouldn't have happened without the support of all our members
and moderators. With that being said, I'd like to take this time to send
my sincere thanks to all the moderators of battleforums, especially our
senior moderators, Placebo, Cortalos and Swooper. They do a stressful
and thankless job every single day, and they keep the forums free of
spam and garbage. The forums would definately not be around if it
weren't for these guys and all the other mods of battleforums, so be
sure to give them a thanks every so once and a while for their hard
work!
