Anyone of you encountered this ??hack??

I opened a game and several people joined finaly someone joined with exactly the same name and mine the same stats as mine, but it wasn't me! He said that i would have stolen his account name bla bla ...

anybody encountered such problem? is it a hack or is it just a trick??

Impersonater is so that you can impersonate someone in a game, but your still able to chat as your regular name. It hides your real name which is replaced by the person you impersonate.

a spoof hack lets some1 change thier name and stats when they join a game.hence the word spoof. no account was stolen nothing happened. its a very easy hack to opperate

I remember getting 4 of my friends....we all name spoof to the exact same name, then make a public lotr game. Get a couple people in. The confuse them sooo much ingame.

Oh and 2 people can log in on the same account at the same time. In chat they will have a #2. In game it wont show this at all.

I remember one time this guy with the spoofed name "BlizzTech" created a game with three accomplices, each one spoofed to the name "Computer". He claimed he was testing the new 1.09 computer AI for Blizzard (1.08 was out at the time).

So anyway, we went in and the "comps" started chatting pre-arranged "computer messages" and when I said "You guys are full of shit, you're spoofing" one said "foul language detected, reporting to Blizzard" and then quit. Ah well... dumbasses abound who think everyone else is a n00b. What surprises me is some guy was able to find three equally stupid people to help him pull it off.

You can download anti-hacks though just pull google up then type anti-hacks, by the way blizzard made a patch against almost all impersonaters, what it does is kicks any a screen name that has to mirror faces. Kicks spoofed and real account of b.net!
