Well my d2 original playdisc is corrupted, and I'm working on replacing the mpqs (hoping they are the files that were corrupted)

anyways, I was wondering, does anyone know what this error means, or what file(s) it's connected to?

You could search for that file on google and replace it or ask someone here for it.

I already know that it's too scratched up.

Also keep in mind, that directory is not a real directory (not one I can access), but something associated with the game.

It doesn't seem to be d2char.mpq (since I got it from a friend but that didn't change anything), and I haven't checked d2music.mpq yet. Those are the only files that are coppied from the d2 non expan playdisc during the instalation of the expan, so I figured if I could replace one or both of them, that should solve everything without me having to reinstall with a different disc.

It's possible that replacing one or both of those files won't save me (which I may find out soon enough). Does anyone know if the error is associated with any other file(s) or at least know that it's not associated with the two mpqs I mentioned?
