Well, you need D2Loader to make it work, and D2Loader is detectable. So... the hack itself is safe, but D2Loader isn't.

you dont need d2 loader....i use it without the loader and its working fine except i get dropped when i switch acts...idk if this is becuase of the program or something else ive done, but anyway i dont use d2loader and it works fine with me

You can use -direct -txt with normal D2 exe file? I didn't know that lol

Yea, I think before I reformatted I also used it w/o loader

It is because you cannot watch the videos. Either your video or sound card do not work. It happened to me when I did not have the appropriate drivers.
