Anya portal

I started my Pindle bot and i worked all the way untill it had to go through the anya portal...cuz there wasnt a portal there... I heard say that if u kill Nihlitak the portal disappears. Is this true or is there a way to get it back?

if you kill nihlitak its over

The portal closes only in normal mode.
in NM and Hell the portal remians open even after you finish the quest.

Then why is mine gone in Nightmare?

The portal disappears if you activate the halls of pain way point.

You can kill Neilathak and get the quest.
