i was curious anybody here in BF's take any supplements if so what do you take i take

Fizogen's On Cycle for two bottles/ then after the 2 bottles i take one of Off Cycle then repeat (look it up its good stuff)_

Uh... since when were popping pills and lifting weights have anything to do with one another?

I've got this powdered drink, but it's terribly disgusting. I haven't used it in a while though. The can's lost and I can't remember what it was called.

Supplements are weak. Why cheat yourself out of results you can acheive yourself? Weightlifting isn't about having the biggest dick on the block. It's about challanging yourself. It's sad that some people can't see that.

Btw, I'm just wondering, how old are you?

I'm 17..ive been lifting since freshmen year without taking anything untill now and its tough to catch up to people that been jucing since forever.

No, but I used to lift weights. I've never taken pills though. (Well yes I have when I'm sick but that's a whole different thing.) I take vitamins though.

Arg. Of course you're in high school. You see someone make great gains and he happens to be taking supplement X. You guys are in puberty. You're not making awesome gains because you took supplement X, you making gains because your body is cranking out androgens by the second.

Secondly, you don't deserve to take supplements until you puke during an arm workout. Until you've pushed your physical limit (which is what sports are about in my opinion), you have no reason to extend your physical limitations through supplementation.

Third, don't think of it as keeping up with some genetically predisposed guy. Gauge your results compared to yourself, and your body weight. If you bench 135 and you weigh 70 lbs. that's way more impressive than some 250 lb. ball player benching 400.

Lastly, don't take some stupid supplement just because you're insecure about your body. You'll end up laughing at yourself later. Get some self respect. Taking androgens isn't what I would call a "good decision".

Btw, what's your bench/deadlift/squat & bodyweight. I'm just curious.

yea i life weights sometimes... like a 1 or 2 days a week... this is cuz i don't really wanna stunt my growth... im only in gr 8...

the No3 just helps you recover faster i guess becuase i have not felt tired in a while, so i wouldnt consider it Jucin but i just got on it with a friend so it ay have more affects i dunno about yet.

I weigh 140 and can bench about 120, and squat 250 roughly, I am not sure I have been in season and havent lifted lately. I start a lifting program next week. Although If you are going to take a supplement, take a protein supplement. I usually mix a protein supplement with milk Yumm It tastes good.

Enhancement supplements like steroids are a pansey way to get muscles. In my view it's more attractive to see a man with strength then a man with bulging muscles and breasts bigger then mine. Just because someone isn't bulging doesn't mean they aren't strong. Lifting small amounts over and over is just as good as lifting a large amount very few times.

I weigh 165, bench 245, deadlift 465, and squat 320. No supplements, no bench-shirt///squat suit. Grrrr. :p

Protein supplements I really don't have a problem with (altho I don't buy them). I usually just eat food to get my daily allotted protein. If you're worried about getting aminos into your blood stream right after you work out, you should either A) eat before you workout or B) realize your body has plenty to last you until you eat your next meal.

Anyways, my point is, until you get sound nutritional practices, and a strong work ethic, I would not go taking a bunch of experimental, untested, drugs because you're insecure about your body. Not to mention that the FDA doesn't regulate them, the companies don't have to test for bad drug interactions, ect. ect. In fact, ephendrine just got banned in the US. However, since it was an "herbal supplement" the FDA couldn't touch it. Too bad, it caused over 100 deaths since 1994. I really wish you people would think a little bit before you go throwing things into your body.

I don't think that is correct. Lifting small weights a lot is for the toning of muscle. Lifting small amounts of large weights is for bulking up. It isn't the same. :)
