Any OTHER Good Places to Visit in...

Going to Washington D.C. and Virginia for a few days starting today. Visiting my dad, but not exactly sure where to go. I've already been to all the major spots you'd typically visit if you're a first time tourist. Washington Memorial, Linkin Memorial D), Vietnam Memorial, Jefferson, etc; but aside from checking out my dad's new sailboat (kickass), we don't have a whole lot planned... I love not having ****in schedules.

I'm wondering if there's anyone from that general area, originally, or currently, that might know of any lesser known places to check out. Good restaurants, etc.
