Anti virus dupe

I was playing d2 lod when my virus pogam started and i was about to drop shit items after a pindel run, when i droped it i still had it in my inv and on the ground and i had identify them to so it wasen't to of the same item he droped maybe this is a new dupe.

its called lag dupe.. sounds to me when your *virus thing* poped it might had made a lag, and while you were holding the item or something. and am not sure about the id part.

wouldn't that be client-side only though?

yea it would be clientside so the server would still save, otherwise you could just disconnect your modem and dupe. this guy is either lying or something else happened that he doesn't know about.
