Hi, im new to this site so u might not recognize my nick. But i have read all the threads. I saw the "anti realm down thread" and decided to make a .REG file so u dont have to search "battle.net" in regedit urself :p

Pretty meaningless but anyway... :sly
Just unzipp it and dubbleklick to get un-R/D:ed

It probably would have been easier to just post the code. Good idea! Don't see why I didn't think of it! Too bad everybody else doesn't contribute on their first post!

No luck

Just got r/d a few mins ago and was kinda looking forward to trying this out. Unfortunately it was to no avail. I tried restarting and resetting my modem and everything and tried it and still no luck. Maybe its just me. :rolleyes

WTF!

I was baal running and got realm down, i thought yeye, i'll just use my .reg file :)

I used the .reg and the R/D didnt get off anyway!

So i tried to delete the battle.net folder in regedit but that didnt work either!
Have blizzard patched it or something!?

No, it was a different form of a realm down. What happened to you was you were hit with a temp ip ban. The only way to get rid of it is to either wait it out, or change your ip. Whether or not you can change your ip depends on whether or not you have a dynamic ip. If you do then odds are the easiest way to change your ip (if you have broadband) would be to disconnect the phonline or cable from your modem. If you have dial-up then just reconnect.

Restart your computer after deleting or replacing the registry.
